Ha. There's plenty of good music for frollicking and letting testosterone do its thing with.

See recent thread on Pantera.
LB is a different vibe than Pantera.

Why do say they were so awful? You honestly can't have fun with Break Stuff or My Way or the Mission Impossible song or Nookie? If not, why not? Good production, good beats, good guitarist - and actually, good use of the DJ as well.

The Significant Other album is pretty damned good start to finish. The first song ("Just Like This") never got any love, but it is great and a great way to kick off the album

I always thought Don’t Go Off Wandering was that song that didn’t get the love it deserved.

Rearranged still holds up.

I take it to the Mathews bridge at least twice a week.

I’ve been over that sucker a few times. A BUNCH back in the 90’s when I was heading to The Edge in Arlington for a killer show.

I challenge anyone not to get pumped up by the break in Break Stuff.

I won’t lie I cranked the shite out of it many times back then, and I was in my 30’s. Downvotes be damned!!

The hits Limp Bizkit had over the years were all really good. Don't get the hate for them.

It's always our elite betters insisting we are dumb for wanting joy and fun in life instead of gazing at our fricking shoes and painting our faces white.

This was my biggest problem with the grunge era. It's like a switch was flipped and bands weren't allowed to be in it for fun anymore. No more parties, life sucks. All of it was immediately tedious and pretentious to me. I saw Limp Bizkit at Ozzfest in '98. While I was never a huge fan, they were energetic and entertaining. You know, fun.

That fun-loathing attitude continues today. I get a lot of shitte from musicians in the local scene because I don’t play their brand of “hardcore” shoegaze. All these guys do is stare at their feat, trigger pedals, play calm midwest emo guitar licks, and scream. It’s alright, but it’s not fun. The songs have no hooks, nothing to dance to, and the lyrics are all super self-loathing. I go on stage and try to put on a show, playing fun sounding music, moving around, looking like I’m having a good time, and all they do is shitte-talk about what a dork I am for trying to have, and help others have, fun. I am a huge dork, but that’s besides the point

I hated Nirvana.

Grew up on stuff like Ratt/Megadeth/VH/Overkill then these whiny smelly fricks from Seattle took over and life sucked.

That was an amazing concert. That and Up in Smoke were both late 90s and kicked arse.
