Worth going?

Always loved NIN but have never been to a show.

Any recommendations to watch on Youtube?

I saw them in 2000 at New Orleans Arena(Smoothie King Center) with A Perfect Circle opening. They were surprisingly dull & A Perfect Circle were amazing as usual. The arena was only about half full so that didn’t help. Will not go see them again.

Saw them headline 2005 Voodoo Fest. One of the best shows I've been too and I've been dying to see them again. If you are even a moderate NIN fan, you should see them.

Im surprised the dude above you didn't like the show, everything I've read so far is that they are incredible.

Any particular shows on youtube you recommend?

Depends. Do you prefer sober Trent over 1990s Trent?

Woodstock '94 vs. Palladium 2018.

Decide for yourself.

I've seen them live 6 times. It's worth whatever they're charging.

Sorry, can't help you there. I'd just try to find more recent shows if you want to get a feel for what it is like.

Me, I like to be more in the dark when going into a big show like NIN, as to not spoil anything. I'd rather be seeing it for the first time live.

Seen them 5 times. Incredible shows. One tour they had Explosions in the Sky as the opener. My favorite tour was 2013.

I've seen them three times and they were fricking fantastic all three times. The only bad experience was the girl sitting next to me having an epileptic seizure during a show in Houston

Much better experience indoors vs outdoors. If you're inside an arena, the lights and overall show are much better.

I've only seen them once and that was in 1992 opening for Faith No More and Guns & Roses. I was in Germany and at that time, and this show was literally 3 blocks from my house. It was an amazing tour and at the time, I had not even heard of NIN. TR came out in a thong painted entirely ghost white and his head was shaved. All of their equipment was patched up with duct tape. All of it with strands of tape just peeling off. They blew the audience away as nobody really knew who they were. It rained the entire day, never let up. After the show, the entire pasture was 4-6 inches of mud. The misery of an entire day in the rain passed once the music started and folks just had a great time being soaked and playing in the mud.

I know it doesn't add to the thread, but it was a really great day, 3 blocks from home.

A must see. Seriously, Trent is a hell of a performer, and they usually bring a ridiculous production with them.

Lights in the Sky tour

This is probably the best concert I have ever been to. The video does no justice to just how amazing the production was. It does not capture the incredible light and stage show.

No

Yes, but not the as usual part. APC was great at that time, but they are a mail it in band now. I saw them at Red Rocks about 10 years ago and it was one of the worst concerts I have been to. A complete let down and waste of a trip.

The arena was only about half full

No it was not You have a terrible memory, or more likely you are a Maynard fanboy who is going out of his way to oversell APC by underselling NIN in comparison.

Your entire take is shite

I have a great memory of the show. We got tickets the day of the show in the upper level & our section had about 20 total people in it. The entire upper level was maybe 1/3 full.
