Two upcoming tours coming through town: John Petrucci, Mike Portnoy and Dave Larue at the Stafford Center! Should be a killer show! Then SOEN Swedish group that I thought I would never get to see. Been following then for years. They area coming to the scout club. Highly recommend both!

Oh man... what a show. I'm not near Houston, but I see Soen is coming to Charlotte on Friday Dec. 2 so that is on my radar. I can't tell so far who might be with them, all I can find is "and special guests". Are Petrucci/Portnoy/Larue doing the whole tour or just certain dates?

Yea John has a 20 date tour. Looks like Charleston is the closet show to your area. Will be good to see John and Mike together again. Big Dream Theater fan seen them times with Mike and without him. Yea not sure who will be playing with SOEN? I have seen OPETH many times and was always hoping SOEN would some day tour with them but never happened.

Me too. I never got to see them together in Dream Theater as they quit coming to Louisiana after the SFAM tour. For you Houston baws, I did finally find tickets to the Houston show. You have to buy them on the Venue’s website, they don’t appear on Ticketmaster. 2nd row!

I saw that lineup years ago on a G3 tour with Satriani and Vai.
