Heart in the late 70's was an incredible rock band. This is one of my all time favorite songs and this live version is amazing. Back when real musicians sang and played instruments. Novel concept I know.

This set is from '75 with Heartless, Dreamboat Annie, Crazy On You and Magic man. Fantastic. Skip to 20:07 for Silver Wheels-the long intro to Crazy On You.

Great find. They were just amazing. Best rock band I've ever heard live!

Blew out my rear speakers playing Heart (among others) on the 8 track player in my 71 Duster back in the day.

I worked sound back in the 80's with an engineer that had toured with Heart in the 70's.
He said Ann Wilson's "move" with her male groupies was to hum Dog & Butterfly while going down on them.

I saw them warm up Ted Nugent in the Pontiac SilverDome that year. Their rendition of Led Zeppelin's Rock 'n Roll is right there at the top of best live performance songs I've witnessed

Give me 70’s Ann over Nancy something just sexy as hell about her

She was just starting to plump up at that time. Her fingers were starting to look like little Vienna sausages.

My brother had an early 70s Gold duster (73 I think) when I was a kid. I loved riding with him in that car. He had an 8 track, I specifically remember my brother letting me listen to In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida over and over again sitting in the driveway, and Three Dog Night (the song "momma told me not to come" in particular)

Barracuda
Always gave me a Heart on.

The "classic" lineup of Heart, the Wilsons, Fisher, Leese, Fossen and Derosier kicked arse as one of the best 6-piece classic rock outfits one can name. Even the "comeback" crew which swapped in Andes for Fossen and Carmassi for Derosier was pretty good (losing Fisher hurt more than the rhythm section changes).
I was a big Heart fan back in the day.

Brother had a 340 Wedge. Thing would throw your head back when he hit the gas.

Had mine mounted in the hatchback side panels of my Chevy Vega. Powered by a Pioneer Super Tuner deck hung under the dash.

Never been much of a fan of Heart tbh but I’ll admit it I enjoy These Dreams.
