It is beyond obvious you don't go to anything outside of the 225.

I've lived all over the world, but thanks for playing.

Your "big show at the Varsity" threads are the laughing stock of this corner of the internet

I'm going to stay out of this little e-fight here, but this is extremely true. Those threads are pretty bad.

They get a ton of hits and responses and the show sells out.

It doesn't make them any less comical though

if it didn't help, the show was so strong that it sold out on it's own then.

win/win!

Not bad, but the headliners (so far) aren't up to par with last year IMO. Hard to beat RHCP and DMB. I'm pretty excited about Bassnectar though.

The hangout lineup is always meh, it's a b grade festival set up and line up every year but it is on the beach so it will sell out really fast every year.

Hangout is great for what it is, a big beach party with a lot of live music. It is not a great festival experience though in the traditional arts and culture sense. Just my opinion.

I you want the best Festival experience I would have to say Outside Lands is where it is at. I went in 2011 hey had an amazing mix of music food, art plus you get to stay in a hotel ie been to a lot o festivals including bonnaroo, wanee, jazz, voodoo, and hangout and outside lands blew them all away for me. (jazzfest is very close because of the food and history and late late night shows)

A music festival on the beach

Who can top that atmosphere?

I don't want to sleep in a tent for 3 nights.
