Just like Led Zeppelin without all that genius baggage.

Tickets are way too much. Their tribute band, ZOSO, is in the area at least once a year and tickets are much less, and put on just as good of a show. They even dress like GVF.

I can’t wait to impress all of my internet friends by making fun of this commercially successful rock band. By sharing the same opinions, I get to be one of the cool kids!

If you think most people make fun of their commercial success youre not paying attention. Theres plenty other humor material there

Of course there is, but there’s also a lot of internet groupthink going on that has made GVF the new “cool” band to hate. It’s mostly the same people who make fun of Foo Fighters, Creed, Nickelback, and Coldplay that are hating on GVF.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been at a bar and a song by one of those bands comes on and someone I’m with is like “ugh, I hate ______ so much”, but by the second chorus, they’re singing along to every word.

I like Foo Fighters and Creed so I'm not totally against bland rock. I'm sure this show will sell out but I don't think I've heard an entire GVF song. Just not interested in Led Zeppelin Jr. Considering the timing, I'm kinda surprised Voodoo didn't get them.

If one more person ask me if Ive heard GVF I might actually listen to them.
Its like the OG hipster music guys favorite band and he loves to tell you that they sound like LZ but have never heard LZ before. Dah frick

Saw them before they were known at One eyed jacks 3 years ago. I dug them then I did them now

You don't get to criticize a band if you haven't even heard an entire song from them
Listening to their full album and it's clear they not just copying Zeplin. Honestly if Josh didn't sound just like Plant you'd be seeing a lot less hate

30 seconds is enough for me to judge them

That's not how that works

I liked them until I saw a vid of a live performance. The leader singer using the same hand gestures as Robert Plant was a deal-killer for me.

Really cramming his doughboy arse into hip huggers and a belly shirt did it for me. Most awkward stage presence ive ever seen
Id rather watch Andy Dick front a band
