Anybody going to check it out? I’ll be there with a couple good friends. It’s been damn near 30 years since I’ve seen them. Saw the Superdome show back in the day with Metallica. That was when Axl threw a fit because Metallica absolutely wore the crowd out. Also saw them in Biloxi with Soundgarden. Looking forward to the nostalgia of seeing them again.

I saw them in the Superdome in 2016 and that was an A+ show. Also saw them in Austin City Limits weekend before last. That one wasn’t as good, and Axl is sounding a bit higher pitched now (the Mickey Mouse voice), but he’s been doing a three and half year tour singing very demanding songs, not to mention how he’s the lead singer of AC/DC.

With all that factored in, they still sound very good. They start on time, play two and a half hours, and don’t look like they hate each other. Axl is much more stable these days. Also much heavier than even 2016 despite all of his running around during solos.

I will be there. I saw them at LSU on the Use Your Illusion Tour with Soundgarden in early 92 & the show at the Superdome a few years ago was 100 times better. That was a perfect example of expecting less & getting so much more. I hope the rain holds off for Friday.

That's hard to believe. I was at the show in the Dome a few years ago and it was good but I like to think 92 GNR was a lot better.

GN'R was great, but Soundgarden was the secret weapon that night. They blew my mind.

Yep, not looking good. Any chance they cancel it tomorrow?

It's Rain or Shine. It's only had a day cancelled once. If the lightning is bad though, it's possible.

To be fair, he said day, not an entire weekend. I have a feeling he will be adding Friday to that list.

They still held a Voodoo lite in 2005, but one of the days was in Memphis

Not seeing them this time but I saw them in the Dome in 2016. Also saw them in BR 1992 with Soundgarden. The 2016 show wasn't what they were in the '90s but they were still good.

Saw them in dome in 16 and they were great. Not as great as BR 92 or with Faith No More and Metallica back in the day but still solid.
I’m looking for one voodoo pass if anyone’s unloading.

I wish I had gone to the OKC show last night: Locomotive, Estranged, Shadow Of Your Love, Velvet's Slither, and for the first time since '93 Dead Horse. Damn it
