Greatest Canadian Band

Got in a debate the other day. I said Rush is the GOAT Canadian band. My buddy said it is the Band. I love the Band. But I think the Band doesn't count because they are not all Canadian. What says the music board?

It's Rush or The Guess Who.
The Band was mainly voiced (on the songs that mattered) by Arkansan Levon Helm, so not a Canadian band.
