Yeah, the Floyd were so stingy, they had the audacity to make sure that Syd Barret received all his royalties and had a nice Pink Floyd related income until the day he died.

I find the English in general, to be very ratty people.

Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way.

I know that. That's my point. How she was not compensated for her additions to the song, the entire vocal piece, is beyond me. You would think the band members would be gracious to have that contribution that they had nothing to do with.

Yet, she didn't make an issue of it until years later, implying that she was totally okay with her compensation when she entered the studio.

God dammit, that's not the point. It is a signature moment on one of the greatest and most prosperous albums of all time that she completely improvised. They should have been gracious enough to throw her a damn bone prior to any legal action taking place as a "thank you". That song isnt close to the same without her vocal improvisation.

Unless you´re English and live in England, I´m fairly confident I know more than you.

Don´t get me wrong, I like them. It´s money, and obsessive concern for the same, they have (much like many in this country as well).

Anyway, mileage may vary. Sorry if I upset you.

Well it's not like she wrote anything.

I don't really see it much differently than a band hiring a studio musician to come in and do a solo in a song they're recording. Those guys don't get songwriting credits. Of course, her part is pretty much the entire song so maybe it should count for more than just a 2 minute guitar solo.
