too many to mention....but if i HAD to narrow it down to just a few songs, i'd probably go with "estimated prophet", "jack straw", "black muddy river", and "unbroken chain".

i was late to the party discovering the dead, only getting to see them 3 times. that said, one of those times was in the front row (right in front of jerry) at tampa stadium '95, with the black crowes opening...good times! been to many dead-related shows after they called it quits, 'tho...

i should add that it's tough to narrow down a favorite song because on any given night, an "OK" song can vault itself into "fuggin' awesome". for example, i can take or leave "goin' down the road feelin' bad", but the version from sandstone '91 is absolutely cookin' & i never get tired of it. same with "mississippi half-step....", some versions bore me, yet other versions are downright epic...

Althea
Shakedown Street
Scarlet Begonias
Franklin's Tower
Terrapin Station
Feel Like A Stranger

Just to name a few

I got to see Furthur at Waneefest this year and they were amazing. Bob and Phil can still thrown down some grooves. I'm even thinking of going to see them for 3 nights up at Red Rocks in September.

Built a backyard bar during my tenure at LSU-called it Sugar Magnolia-song holds a special spot for many of us.
Want Ripple played at my funeral (as well as The Weight).
Tennessee Jed and Fire on the Mountain are ones of a multitude I can listen to daily.
And, I should not forget to mention Brown Eyed Women.

This is absolutely true.

When my son was born I went out and bought Garcia and Grisman 'not just for kids' lullabuy cd. Played it for him for like the first month he was alive when he went to bed.
