On her show. I'll probably get banged for this but Garth is the fricking man! I have every album of his. One of my great regrets is never seeing him in concert.

And Kelly? One of the best female singers on the planet. Her power and her upper register are effortless. Huge, unabashed KC fan. And her weight struggles aside, she's a pretty girl w/a very effacious personality.

Garth's Takamine is a fancier version of one that I have. Mine isn't a cutaway, and has the normal sound hole. Same wood, binding, bridge and tuners. Plain fretboard. Same type of sound. He uses that guitar a lot.

I was a huge Garth fan in the 90's. He's always overplayed the "aw shucks" narrative, but ever since his return to the spotlight a few years ago he has been insufferable.

If you've never seen this performance of Clarkson with Jeff Beck, treat yourself. It's their remake of Patti Griffin's Up to the Mountain from one of the early "Idol Gives Back" shows.

Absolutely agree. I grew up listening to the Double Live album so when he finally went back on tour we went and saw him 3 times. He puts on a hell of a show, but holy shite seeing him in interviews and on social media makes me despise the guy. And anytime he intros a song on the "Garth Channel" on Sirius my ears bleed.

100% agree. And that covid TV special he did with Trisha Yearwood a few months ago had to be the cringiest thing I’ve seen in a long time.

Chris Gaines is a douche poseur extraordinaire with a penchant for fat women and not a good singer.

Don't talk about Trisha Yearwood like that. She is a beautiful, southern woman and one of our own(fellow Georgian) who along w/Kelly in her prime was one of the best female singers on the planet.

nGeorgia Rain Trisha Yearwood
She went back home to film that video. And she looks gorgeous. Funny how you think she's fat. You probably have a fat wife, don't ya?

Shallow is one of my favorite Porcupine Tree tunes. Hope they didn't screw it up too bad.

PS - yes, I know.

I was a huge fan up until 2018. My parents went to his show in Des Moines and they never came back. Cameras in the arena show them going into Garth's dressing room for a meet and greet, but it never shows them coming out. We just want Garth to let us know where the bodies are.
