This song is genius to me, he flips the plot of the movie Psycho, so that the farmer's daughter is trying to get him in the shower to kill him, and mixes the whole thing with a travelling salesman joke/story. He is able to save himself by yelling that he is a fan of Fidel Castro, and creates havoc, because the old farmer gets mad and doesn't think. He is able to escape, and then reminds us that it's all only possible in a country with free speech.
The whole song is just absurd, and full of one liner jokes. To me, the most profound couple of lines in the song: What would a doctor know about farming, pray tell? I was born at the bottom of a wishing well.
If yall never listened to him, the best guy at writing purely funny songs was Tim Wilson.
