This is a strange one for me. I give the edge to DLR, and always have, but my favorite Van H. Song is with Hagar.

While I think the peaks of David Lee Roth are higher than Van Hagar, I think the depths are far lower and the band was more inconsistent. Under Hagar, VH was just a real solid pop band. Sure, they were about as hard core as a Dan Quayle rally, but they turned out some good, fun pop songs for about a decade.
