To all interested, here's how I got my tix:
Earlier in the day, I logged into the app and pretended to buy tickets to another event. I had to do the captcha verification at that point. I believe this was key in the process because I was not asked to verify again when checking out for the foo tickets. (I had no idea this would happen, just FYI.)
Anyway, I used the ticketmaster website to watch the countdown clock, and then when it hit 0, I submitted my request on the app. Everythingwentbetterthanexpected.jpg

I didn't mine until 12:06 or so using the app. I tried a few times but it took me forever to figure out the captcha words and a couple times I typed them out wrong .I set up my app to get push notifications so I wouldn't have to go through that process. As soon as I allowed notifications, I relaunched the app and it went through.
