I've seen "House of the Rising Sun" listed a s a folk song before. In which case - That's my #1.

I don't like much Springsteen does these days, but that tribute to Pete Seeger was pretty cool. Love the whole album.

FWIW - Feist does an AMAZING modern adaptation of "Sea Lion Woman" IMO.

Feist - Sealion (Live on Later with Jools Holland) (give it a listen at least through 2 minutes to fully appreciate)

I saw Milla in concert once. She's REALLY good.

Its definitely a folk song it dates back pre 1900s i beleive.
