Favorite Simon & Garfunkle song?

I am going with Richard Corey.
Usually don't care too much about lyrics in songs but with Simon & Garfunkle, they matter. And with Richard Corey, there's a story and message that ooze out of the song

I know it was based on a poem. I read the po in HS. S&G changed the song to fit what they were looking for

Personally I prefer that track to the entire recorded oeuvre of Simon and Garfunkel
Here's a kinder, gentler alternate version by Them that I had never heard until a few moments ago. It's closer to S&G, though of course still much more personal and emotional.

America
. . . because it's fun to play on guitar. (Not that I play many of their songs).
And yes you are correct, I'd consider constructing a song from a poem writing the song, as long as they didn't pass it off as their own. Then it'd be more like plagiarism in my twisted ethical way of thinking.

Tough one but probably Sound of Silence

That's tough. The whole 'Sounds of Silence' album is good...
I would guess I Am A Rock and My Little Town but my fav thing they do is Simon's solo An American Tune from the Central Park concert.
