Aqua - Barbie Girl

One of the first Danish acts to really cross the Atlantic with much success. Bizarre, catchy song.

Wouldn't it be good (Nick Kershaw / Pretty in Pink soundtrack)

The 80's had it's share of other favs...

Melt with you (Modern English)
Take on me (A-ha)
Love plus one (Haircut 100)
Johnny are you queer? (Josie Cotton)
Tenderness (General Public)
"19" (Paul Hardcastle)
Steal away (Robbie Dupree)
Voices carry (Til Tuesday)
Puttin on the Ritz (Taco)
Der Kommisar (After the Fire)
Mexican Radio (Wall of Voodoo)

I could go on and on...

Haircut 100 - Favorite Shirts(Boy Meets Girl)

I don't know if this was a hit, but Josie's He Could Be The One is on a compilation disc I have, and is such a better song.

Again, not sure if it was a hit, but somehow I know it. Coming Up Close is 'Til Tuesday's best song.
