Bethel - Freedom

This song always gets me hyped.

Amanda Cook - Shepherd

They've just started playing this recently at my church. It's a simple song, but I love the arrangement.

Matt Gilman - As the deer pants

Never heard of this guy before, but this song came across my pandora, and it really stirred me up. The guy's voice is incredible. He looks so unassuming too.

Elevation Worship - Mighty Warrior

The black dude on the drums is getting it.

It's not a troll thread. I love Jesus. I know my past behavior on this site would lead you to believe otherwise, and you'd be right. I was being a hypocrite. I saw that, and I changed.

I can't really blame you for not believing me. That's my fault.

Well Jesus would hang out with you.

I was being a hypocrite before because I wasn't being loving. You know, I'd tell people to "frick off;" tried to tear them down. That wasn't right.

You can debate someone without being hateful like that.

And I do troll from time to time, but I try to make it light hearted. I'm trying to make people laugh, not feel bad about themselves.

If it has a guitar, it shouldn't be sung in church. Liturgical music should have an otherworldly, eternal, and appropriate sound and feel to it.

Real liturgical music

These message boards have too many midnight ramblers, lowdown gamblers, no account boozers, and wrong path choosers. We need less OT trollers and more holy rollers! Fewer backdoor slammers and more front pew jammers.

Get Thee Behind Me, Satan! And by the way, If You Don't Love Jesus, Go To Hell!

Being a preacher's kid from a huge assembly of god church, I could name so many. With that said, The genre of music I listen to the most is metal. I love Black, death, Swedish death, Norwegian black, blackened death etc..grew to have a large dislike for church music having to hear it so much. Doesn't really bother me anymore nowadays since I quit going many years ago. Sometimes I get on a nostalgic kick.

But one melody that I always enjoyed when I was younger, was an acoustic slow version of a song called "all consuming fire".

Yeah I hid my "secular" music. When I was like 6 or 7, Sic rapped "Ice Ice Baby" to me and our other brother after lights out. It was JUST like hearing it on the radio.
