I didn’t know who Keb Mo was until about a month or so ago and have just started listening to him....what the frick is wrong with me?

He came out with an album in 2017 with Taj Mahal thats pretty good.

Grew up in the 60's and never heard of Linc Wray (Rumble) until I stumbled across him on this board.

Yep Kevin Moore is his real name. I'm sure he has lots of good material. But as far as blues playing, I was underwhelmed when I saw him at Jazz Fest several years ago. Definitely not in league with Buddy Guy or SRV (I know, who is?)...I also thought Tab Benoit was better live.

Jeez, Taj Mahal's rhythm is the standard that I set for myself. been a fan of his for a very long time.

First heard of him back in the 80s he played on a Woody Guthrie tribute album or somethin, and damn he played a banjo like I know it was meant to be played. Total badass.
