Here you go, a goldtop for $85 if you use the 15% coupon today. Of course you would also need an amp.

But realistically I think a 6 year old is too small to hold any "real" guitar. I strongly concur with the 3/4 Squier mini (or equivalent).

I've gone into the seamy underbelly of aliexpress dot com.
I have spelled it that way because it is shady.
Admins, if you have a problem with me mentioning this site let me know, I will take it down. Please don't whack a guitar thread for my kid. I will edit if so instructed.
Really just wondered if anyone had experience with this site or products.

If you're talking about direct-from-Chinese-factory counterfeit Gibsons, Fenders, Rics and other USA guitars ... I have no direct consumer experience with them and never will.
From a guitar-itself standpoint, I've had three cross my bench in recent times. They were clones of a goldtop LP Standard, a sunburst LP Standard and an EDS-1275 double neck. They all looked pretty at first glance and one played okay for the price point. But two of the three had serious structural issues that needed to be addressed (i.e., $$$) to make them even reasonably playable.
Hard to call a margin of error with that small a sample, but it does tell me even if you ignore the morality of the purchase, there is a reasonable chance you will land a cheap guitar that will cost possibly double the initial investment to get it repaired up to simple, basic speed. And considering it's a shady black market forgery from halfway around the globe, I'd suspect you are absolutely SOL as far as a return and refund if you aren't pleased straight out of the box.

This is all accurate. That's why I only trust South Korean knockoffs!

I saw one on my local craigslist for $75.

I picked one up today and fiddled with it.
Picked up some fender squeir telecasters and they were made in China. One was $499.
