Anyone going to the concert tonight? Probably not since most of you are probably too young to appreciate them. If so I will see you there.

Traffic on the S'port side at 5:50 was backed up forever trying to get over the Jimmie Davis Bridge.

I went; had a great time! Got Funk 49 and Rocky Mountain Way, which I wasn't expecting, but didn't get Seven Bridges Road, which I was. A quality trade-off, though.

Ironically I grew out of the Eagles as I got older. I understand why people like them but to me they are just bland. Just my personal opinion, no hate. I really like their Seven Bridges Road tho.

At the Superdome for Hell Freezes Over, we got every Joe Walsh song we wanted - Rocky Mountain Way, Life's Been Good, Funk #49, plus his Eagles songs. I was blown away.

I think they're way too old to nail Seven Bridges Road.

Listen to the albums. All they do in concert is play them as note for note as they can, with almost zero improvisation. As much as I love their music, going to one of their concerts is not something I really would look forward to.

This is fair criticism - in their heyday in the 70s, they were often accused of "loitering" on stage - Joe is a great live entertainer, though - he will improvise and banter with the crowd - a little. Henley/Frey are there for the money, baw.

I'm 31 and had a blast at the concert.

They put on an awesome show last night. Around 3 total hours of music with a ~20 minute intermission. The concert was a prime example of great music not requiring over the top lighting effects and hopping around on the stage (I'm talking to your Miranda Lambert and Lady Antebellum).
