Do you think Ryan Adams will ever tour again/release another album?

I know this board is a little divided about his music and, by all accounts, he's a huge POS as a person.. but he's my all-time favorite artist. If much of what was written about him was true, he deserved what he got/gets.

That said, do any of you think he'll eventually make music or tour again? These days I don't know if you're cancelled if you're cancelled for good.. or until something else comes along to make people forget?

I remember he was scheduled to release three albums in 2019 (or 2018.. whatever year he got busted). I'd already pre-ordered and had the first single of the first of the three albums when all this happened. Got an e-mail from iTunes that my money had been refunded

TLDR: Not defending the guy, but I enjoy his music. Curious of other opinions on whether he's done for good?

It’s gonna be rough, he made a new Instagram account and the following is dismal. Used to be really active on there, that’s just a small microcosm of how shitty it’s gotten.

Fan here, I can see him making a new album(s), but I don't see him touring anytime soon at all.

Maybe, but it'll be a few years at least.

Sucks but it's the bed he made for himself.

He actually got a new PR firm and someone tweeted it out and within an hour his name was removed from the roster of artists.

I was really looking forward to his three albums and I think eventually he may end Up releasing them on his own (if he legally can).

He is a real POS apparently and the grooming a minor thing, if true, is just awful.

While I enjoy Ryan Adams’ music, IMO he is too prolific. If he had released 3 albums in one year I guarantee 3/4s of the songs would have been garbage with a few gems tucked away in there.

His last album was pretty good. He has performed live, albeit as surprised guest, recently. Ryan Adams

Maybe he could get Phoebe Bridgers to open?

Do y'all think he made a move on Taylor Swift when they briefly collaborated a few years back?

Did they actually collaborate or was he just trying to meet her by making a cover album of her album?

She didn't have any involvement in his recording of "1989," but they did meet at least once; there's an interview where they're seated on a couch together on YouTube.

I hope he does. I really enjoyed the self titled album from 2014 and the Whiskeytown material. I've seen him twice and he's been great

One thing I don’t like is that Ryan’s live albums he’s put out are all pussified acoustic versions of kick arse songs when what we want, or at least what I really want, is the electric versions of these like New York New York etc.
