Did you get tired of hearing about the artsy-ness of Radiohead?

I liked them and remember thinking "wow" when both OK Computer and Kid A came out but they were seen as gods and I guess it just never got to that level with me. And I think Thom came off as sort of snobby and full of himself too which turned me off a bit. But like I said I listened to the heck out of em back in the day but just sorta drew weary of the the whole "I’m a big fan of Radiohead do you want to see my sketches" thing.

Maybe just me

Luckily, I never really knew anyone that was hardcore into them... I didn't own anything past OK Computer... My musical interests were so far from them when they really took off... I had a general awareness of the sentiment surrounding them though..

The last song I could probably recognize by them is Karma Police..

I'm sure they've done some worthwhile stuff since then, but... you cant hear it all..

My feelings are similar to yours except that I'm not sure I would say I liked them. I didn't hate them. And I gave them a fair shot because of the insane reverence some people I knew had for them. Basically, I figured that if people liked this band THAT much, they must be great. And so I tried to like them. But they just never stuck with me.

This is actually the only song of theirs that I truly love.

They were great until Kid A. While I liked that record, it is when they became some avant garde electronic band and lost their way. It's also when they were elevated to God status from just being a great band. Very odd to me

radiohead is an amazing band and their sound has evolved over 25 years. they are still very creative but I do miss the rock aspects of their earlier albums. the looping and sampling stuff is ok but I miss hearing distorted guitars from them.

the bends, ok computer and kid a are incredible albums from top to bottom. everything after that I never really got into.

I just ignore it. The same can be said for fans of bands like Tool, which I'd argue is way more extreme with their obsession with how "deep" their favorite band is.

Why would I? I like radiohead but my wife is a huge fan. They create interesting music although I have never been as big a fan as my wife.

I love them. One of my 2-3 favorite bands ever.
But I totally get why some don’t care for their music.

This is pretty much me. “Creep” got my attention. I was a HUGE fan of The Bends, OK Computer, and the EP’s from that period. Then Kid A came out and they lost me. I’ve tested the water with a few of their albums after that, all a no go.

I do not understand how anyone likes them at all. The way the dude sings is just awful.

They have a few older songs that I like. I generally find their music too meandering and lacking some sort of a backbone or lifeline that I can cling to and get through. I find it frilly and airy without direction or drive. It's really a personal preference of mine and nothing more.
