Since Waters seems hell bent on butchering this album with his remake I thought I’d share an early mix from before it became a final product. Some things good. Some not so good. But interesting listen if you are a fan and haven’t heard it before. I actually quite like most of Us and Them and Eclipse. I’m glad they revamped the laughing segments in brain damage. This version is way over the top with those sound effects and I find it annoying and distracting.

And here’s an early mix of the complete suite of Shine on you crazy diamond. It combines both halves of the song. I like the lonely four notes early in this version. I also like the slightly extended funky bits on the back end of this version.

If by "sick son of a bitch" you mean a masterful guitarist, then I agree.

Something about the space between notes and all that.

I loved collecting Floyd boots of their shows just to hear the subtle differences.

IMHO the Animal Instincts boot or Mr Pig boot should be cleaned up and released. AI is better for mids and highs and MO is better with the bass and mid range.
