Always loved this song, and Fogelberg has always been one of my favorites. First time I saw him was a solo acoustic tour at the PMAC (then the LSU Assembly Center) WAY back in 1983...simply amazing--just him, a guitar, and a piano. The dude was a virtuoso on both instruments.

Years later I came across an unused backstage pass/sticker for this tour on eBay and grabbed it.

Interesting story. Thanks for sharing. I love Dan Fogelberg's music. Saw him in concert a couple of times around 1980-1983.
