This hurts me. I have always loved Heart and have seen them a number of times, most recently on their 2019 tour with Joan Jett both in Nashville and Memphis.
I saw they were back on tour this year but I thought about it awhile and decided that I would just remember them the way they were the last time I saw them.
Turns out their tour was supposed to start last year but it was delayed when Ann had cancer surgery. She says she is cancer free now but then just before the delayed start of this tour she fell and broke her humerus. The show must go on, she went on tour at age 75 singing from a wheelchair on stage.
I ran across some pictures but I ain’t posting them, I wish I could unsee them.
I really hate that it has come to this for one of the great voices in rock and roll.
All the best wished to Ann. I wish they had hung it up.

Tell us how did she sing? Good for her for not quitting.

Well, rough. Difficult to belt out rock and roll from a wheelchair.

As a fan of early rockers like Jerry Lee and Little Richard I always thought if he wants to roll out there in a wheel chair, so be it.
And how awesome would it have been if the Killer got up at the end, kicked it over, and walked off the stage?

It's awful to see illness hit anyone. It just shows our iconic musicians are human.

Your humerus runs from your shoulder to elbow so either the OP is mistaken as to the fracture location or there's more to this than is bring revealed.

Injuries happen. I watched Alice In Chains open for Ozzy and Layne was in a wheelchair because of a broken ankle.

No I am not mistaken Professor she says the reason for the wheelchair is she cannot stand and move around and sing with her arm in a sling without a good deal of pain.

May need to start transitioning to more of an intimate, unplugged setup.
Phil Collins looks pretty depressing as well.

Saw her at Jazzfest last year. Sadly she’s done for. Those big beautiful notes are nowhere to be found. Couldn’t watch her in Chair.

Sounds like you get what I am saying. Man it comes to us all.

With recent advances in medical robotics, surely they could prop her up.

This is really sad. It reminds of the time when I saw Jose Feliciano when he performed blind. Shocked the whole audience that night, I'm here to tell you.

They need to get on the Keith Richards diet.
