Any fans out there? The new album is great. Good to see they are still around.

Use to rock out to them when I was a teen. One of the first albums I owned.

Who doesn't like Mr. Jones???

August and Everything After is my favorite album. It is very seldom that I find an album that I can listen to from start and finish and enjoy every song.

With that said, Counting Crows are in my top 5 favorite artists/groups: Sinatra, Sting, Counting Crows, Elbow, Guns n Roses....

August and Everything After was a Masterpiece. The new album is really good...with a few songs headed in the "folk country" style...if you can call it that?

Love them. Saw them live once a couple years ago. Dude can still wail/whine. Which makes it more irritating when he breaks into spoken word type stuff during concerts.

Their first two albums are incredible.

Colorblind is awesome as well. Images of a young Reese Witherspoon in my head during song does not hurt.

Does anyone else like Recovering the Satellites more than August and Everything after or is that just me?

It's close, I randomly listened to the 1st 4 records on a road trip last week. The 1st 2 are just classics top to bottom. This Desert Life isn't not close behind. Hard Candy was actually really good too, just a little too shiny and a couple of songs just missed I thought.

I thought Saturday Nights and Sunday Mornings had it's moments.

I just can't get into the new record....And I've tried multiple times. I think the fact that it's getting compared to August and Everything After is insulting to August and Everything After. I do like Scarecrow, but overall he went too much for the rambling live Adam Duritz, but on a recording, and forgot to actually write an entire coherent song.

But new album aside, it doesn't take away their 90's prime. There's really not a song I dislike on the 1st 3 records.

Their unplugged albums are in my top 5 of all-time. Counting Crows is also a favorite pandora station of mine.

Hop on my choo choo I'll be your engine driver in a bunny suit if you dress me up in pink and white.
We may be just a little fuzzy 'bout it later tonight.

Favorite band since the early 90's. Saw them in Lake Charles last summer. Was strange standing 10 feet from the dude I had been listening to for the last 20 years. Show was great but they played lots of stuff from the new cd (that I didn't know yet), so I left somewhat disappointed.

Hate them. He whines and sings through his nose. I hate that sound when a singer does that

Counting Crows is worth listening to on the off chance that some of Adam Duritz's game rubs off on me. Sadly it never does. But seriously who doesn't like Mr. Jones, amiright?
