Funny. I remember the first time I heard that song. I immediately thought this is a band I need to hear more of. Saw them live not long after. They were good, but were still polishing their live performance. Good musicians (they were carefully assembled actually) but just needed to get a little tighter live. I'm sure that changed pretty rapidly with touring.

They will never top thier first album. very serious lyrics, such as "Raining in Baltimore" The whole album is great,not a bad song on it.

They may not be #1 all-time for me but I can't think of any band who is better.

to them, I have so many good memories while listening to them...probably my best memories happened with them in the background.

saw them play at Tipitina's in the mid 1990's, they were sold out a buddy of mine were blitzed from drinking zimmas in line and were attempting to sing mr. jones and somebody said you need to hear the song and its supposed to really sound and gave us two tickets.
