In January I went to Vegas and saw Blake Shelton, Styx, and Santana in 4 days. Had tix to see Neko Case the day after I got back from that trip, but I skipped it because I was tired, it was cold, roads were icy, and I’m old.

Saw trucks years ago. Only going to convince Susan I love her more.

greensky was killer last night but the sound in tips was kinda muddy and distorted. You had to get right up in the middle center to get a clean listen and upstairs was inaudible. I don’t remember it being that way last time I was there

I just met and seen Sevendust last Thursday. Going back to Nashville next month to see them again with Alter Bridge.
Going to see Weezer in October at Bridgestone.

Mid-run check in:
TTB was great both nights, obvs
My first Taj Mahal live experience was excellent, but I wish I'd caught him 30 years ago. Not much "show", but a load of good tunes.
DBT sounded great, but they left so many good songs on the table.
Isbell was his usually transcendent self, though the setlist included some headscratchers (ie - It Gets Easier as the opener)
Molly Tuttle was really good, but I was a bit distracted during her set.
Got bonus bluegrass yesterday. Walking down Dauphin St in mobile and stumbled on a Rolling in the Hay show. Hadn't seen those cats in 30 years!
Cake tonight!
I'm tired, but pushing through.

Day off today and tomorrow with a four show in five nights run starting tomorrow night, plus we will probably go out to the fest on Thursday

How was Cake? I had thought that I had always heard that they were not great live but I saw them about a year ago and they were awesome. Played all the hits pretty much.

They were fantastic. I've seen them about 5-6 times and have never been disappointed.
