When I was a student at Auburn there was this little hole in the wall bar next to the Knights Inn in Opelika called MacArthur's Park. It was a very redneck place, but they had open mic nights there every Wednesday. A buddy and I happened to be there when this older black guy got up and asked me band to play Backdoor Santa, and he killed it.
