What are your top artists, still having a possibility of performing together, that you would kill to see before its too late?
Save the "You've never seen them before? You suck" bullshite... Just curious
Talking Heads and AC/DC would have to be my top two right now.

Fleetwood Mac.
They're touring this summer but the tickets are super expensive. I usually luck into ACL tickets and they're one of the rumored headliners so I'm hoping I'll get to see them there.

There are a few up and comers (always will be), I'd like to see... Other than that, Ive seen em all...

If nothing else its a good excuse to come to the city and soak up the good vibes, eat some good food and have fun... if they go to ACL, you'll get to see them twice...

I will never understand the attitude to want to see some act that was popular 20 years ago. In 1993, I saw the Rolling Stones with my dad and it was pretty cool, but let's not kid ourselves... I didn't see the Stones in the full sense of that phrase. It was a perfectly competent, professional show that sold me nostalgia for an era that I wasn't even alive for. And while it wasn't a bad show or anything, the Stones are pros and pretty great, it cured me of any desire to ever want to see any band after their time has passed.
Sometimes, you just missed it. You don't want to see Band X. You want to see Band X back in the day. Far better to take a chance on an up and coming act now and see a really exciting show then to have the guarantee of essentially a competent nostalgia show.
Which is to say, I don't care if Fugazi ever gets back together. I saw them at the Wilson Center, and you can't go home again.

I know what you're saying...
However, I saw the Police in '83 and then a few years back on the first reunion tour and it was still fun...
That said, I have no desire to see an old Mick Jagger or Keith Richards... Saw them in '89 at the Dome and that was even meh...

I saw the Police reunion tour and thought it was... not terrible, but not the Police, either. I was too young to see them in 1983. I missed 'em. And that's okay. I saw some great stuff.
That said, Neil Young is still awesome to this very day. And while you can't see the Minutemen, Mike Watt still puts on a great show (well, he did 5 years ago).

Yeah, there are few people I really like that are older...
Neil, Bruce and some of the others are still recording music and that makes a difference... I typically am in your court, I dont want to see a greatest hits concert of old shite...
Ive seen Watt many times with fIREHOSE (Hurley, too) and in his various solo acts... always a good show (though his solo records are very uneven)... I'd still never get to see D Boon, who was/is my musical hero

Some bands age better than others. I saw Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan together. Dylan sucked but Willie was awesome. I saw Simon and Garfunkel in concert Garfunkel's voice is fading but Paul never missed a step.
