Relistened to this album this weekend for the first time in years. I had forgotten how good it is. The production and the arrangements are something that just doesn't happen anymore. It's probably one of the best albums ever made from a production standpoint. The music is first rate as well.

Amazing album when you consider that by the time they were recording it Davies and Hodgson weren't talking to each other.

Yes, it’s a beautifully recorded album with amazing songs. I mean, I must have heard, The Logical Song, a thousand plus times and it still hits with me. Just a strangely haunting song, one of many on that record.

My first Supertramp cassette tape was Paris (1980), which was a live album that rarely left my Walkman, and it gave me a wonderful sample of music spanning their discography, including Breakfast. I then delved into their albums, even the very difficult to find Indelibly Stamped which is not on Spotify and good luck finding that album cover anymore due to frontal female nudity.

I eventually purchased a sheet music book of Paris and learned to play some songs, so Supertramp is one of my cult favorites.

Funny that you should bring this up because I've rediscovered and have played the album Crime of the Century a couple of times this past week.

Great production and not a bad song on it. Also one of my favorite album covers.

Another gem of a record.
This band was right there at the top of my list of best musical show I've seen. It was on the Breakfast in America tour 1980 Cobo Hall, Detroit. The Cars were the warm up and Detroit's own The Romantics started that evening.
Supertramp was a special band.

I was lucky enough to see Rodger play in Milwaukee about 10 years ago. Great performance and an amazingly talented backing crew.
