Bon Scott was definitely one of the greats.

His time as frontman of AC/DC was incredible. Love this live album !

Any of y'all fans of this album ?

Yes! Loved everything about him: the unique voice, the attitude, his stage presence, etc. One of the best live rock albums ever. However, Let There Be Rock is his masterpiece, IMO, slightly above the brilliant Highway To Hell. Raunchy, dirty, nasty rock and roll.

Bon Scott was a legend and the “Blood” album rocked. Gotta love “Whole Lotta Rosie” and “Let There Be Rock”. It’s a real shame he’s no longer with us.

Definitely. His energy was never replicated.

Your description was spot on !

Never really listened to them much after Bon died, not that Brian Johnson wasn't talented, their music just didn't hit me like the old stuff did.

I only listen to Bon Scott AC/DC (nothing wrong with Brian Johnson-but I prefer Bon). He was a hell of a front man.

As good as Back in Black is, and it's one of the best rock albums ever, Bon Scott would have made it better.

Yes, but if he had lived it never would have been made because the premise was that they were “back in black” after mourning his death.

I've been friends with the guys in Molly Hatchet for a very long time and was listening to a story
by a member in the band about Danny Joe Brown drinking with Bon (in Hatchet's early days they opened for AC/DC).....Danny Joe thought he could keep up with Bon.....Danny lost every time

Although uncredited, Bon wrote some of that album.

Interesting...I never heard that before. But it makes sense.

Here's an interesting read about Bon Scott's Confederate Flag belt buckle.

AC/DC is the most pure rock band ever to take the stage. If you were going to relate to an extraterrestrial what classic rock and roll is, you would play him/it some AC/DC.

I agree also. The 1st concert I ever went to was AC/DC in the Shreveport Hirsch Coliseum August 1, 1986.
