Hey Thanks man! Two of my all time favorite bands to walk the earth. I always wondered if Skynyrd got a taste of AC/DC before the crash. I read a paragraph in Ron Ekerman’s book: ‘Turn it Uo’ that Leon came to his room one night with a cassette player and was like “listen to this!” And said he appreciated it, was truly “rock and rock” but was always curious if Ronnie ever heard them and appreciated them, because I would estimate AC/DC had only been out commercially a few years before the crash.
I’ve said it before and will say it again, 12 years old saw my first concert, Blow up Your Video Tour at the end of the 80’s at Lakefront Arena- changed-my-life-forever.
On a side note, went to the crash site last October on the anniversary and met Gene Odom.

Yes! Loved everything about him: the unique voice, the attitude, his stage presence, etc. One of the best live rock albums ever. However, Let There Be Rock is his masterpiece, IMO, slightly above the brilliant Highway To Hell. Raunchy, dirty, nasty rock and roll.

I would kindly request that you give Powerage the same kind of attention.

For a lot of hardcore people who only listen to the Bon Scott era of the band, that one is their record of choice.
