One of more underrated and underappreciated rock musicians of the last 30 years. Laid the groundwork for so much "alt rock" we know and love with Husker Du. His solo stuff and Sugar is just incredibly listenable rock music, as well.

No real question here, just wanted to express some appreciation on the interwebs.

Chartered Trips and Celebrated Summer are two of the best tracks of the 80s.

I liked but didnt love Husker Du. Bob Mould is a darling of the nostalgic affected alternative crowd though. Everybody wants to love a gay post punk pioneer

He's responsible for some of my favorite music ever. See a Little Light is probably my favorite solo, but Wishing Well is up there too.

But my all time favorite comes from Husker Du. If you have never see the video for Makes No Sense At All, it deserves a watch for the Mary Tyler Moore cover at the end

His stuff with Sugar and solo is far better than Husker Du

Maybe.. if you are only accounting for the Mould half of the Huskers... IMO, Hart was every bit as important...

He has a new record coming out early next year... Ive sort of lost track of his most recent output, because he's still releasing records fairly regularly... and well, I just have lost the desire to keep up (in general, not just Bob)... though I still enjoy his work when I hear the newer songs..

Grant Hart died in 2017, he won’t be putting out much more “new” work.
