No surprise that Marty's films, even though they are overly-laced with Stones music, appear in ost of mine.
Random order:
Goodfellas - 1990
The Departed - 2007
Casino - 1995
Juice - 1991 (if you're a major East Coast Hip Hop head)
Dead Presidents - 1995
24 Hour Party People - 1993
Singles - 1991
Thief - 1981 (all done primarily by Tangerine Dream)
The Wanderers - 1979
HEAT - 1995 (not so many stand out classics, but just an intense score)
To Live and Die in L.A. - 1985 (all done by Wang Chung)
Control - 2007 (mostly Joy Division, but then again, the movie was about their career)
Donnie Brasco - 1996
The Breakfast Club - 1984
Pulp Fiction - 1994
Donnie Darko - 2001
Natural Born Killers - 1994

I HATED the Breakfast Club soundtrack. The only song any of my buddies and I knew was the obvious one, the one from Simple Minds.
The best soundtrack I've ever heard, right here:
I was 6 when that movie came out and I love those songs now just as much as I did then.

I know it's a popular pick, but gotta go with "The Harder They Come"

Boogie Nights is pretty damn good. Never heard magnet and steel until then...

Pretty good list right there chops. The country and western movie with Jeff the dude Bridges that came out a couple years ago was solid too. The name escapes me.

I can't believe no one has mentioned Almost Famous. It's my favorite movie of all time, and has the best soundtrack as well imo. Honorable mention goes to Dazed and Confused.

Opening and closing tracks to Devil's Rejects. Not are they both great songs, but they fit the movie perfectly...
