I was going to suggest Decade since the OP allowed greatest hits type collections. What is surprising to me is that when I was thinkng about albums to include most of the albums I wanted to include were the first albums released by the artists. I guess first impressions are still the most important.

I almost put down Yoshimi Battles, glad you picked up where I left off.

And KOL.. I was going to put Youth and Young Manhood.. and if anything Aha was their second best album. Those first two albums are special. Only By The Night... not so much.

Are you a fan of songs like Trani, Bucket, Joes Head, Talahina Sky, Holly Roller, Molly Chambers, Milk, Soft... All those songs are way better than the newer albums (imo of course).

This gives me an excuse to listen to this.

LINK

And since you're from GA and by seeing your taste, you should check into Futurebirds if you don't know em already.

Don't know Futurebirds I'll have to check them out.

As far as Kings of Leon goes, I must confess Only By Night is the only album of theirs I own, but Cold Desert, Crawl, and Closer are pretty damn good songs (my favorites on the album) even if the others got too much exposure. I can tell by the one you posted they were definitely much more bluesy before, sounds good.

You are not alone. Movin' On is a great song. Can't Get Enough is a classic. So are Bad Company, Rock Steady, and Ready For Love. Good choice!
