Yep saw this show at a warehouse on Tchopitoulas street 78’
Also, as some one mentioned,
Blue Oyster Cult opened for RUSH at a warehouse on Tchopitoulas street but this was in 77’
Saw Jay Ferguson band open for Foghat at the Assembly Center.
Kinda blew Foghat away...

I went to see KISS in the mid 80's in Jackson Ms............some opening band called Guns N Roses. Long before Welcome to the Jungle.
Went to see Van Halen at the Cotton Bowl in 1986 or so.......Metallica opened for them. I had heard the name but nothing else.
Went to see Ratt at the Monroe Civic Center early 80's with some new band called Bon Jovi.........right before the release of their first.
Also saw some headliner at the Monroe Civic Center called Def Leppard. Tickets were like 8 bucks day off.........just knew they were a rock band. Photograph hit MTV weeks later.
