I've always gone back to 2000 Ozzfest with Pantera LINK

Still gives me chills.

Quite possibly the greatest live performance caught on film ever. Watch it now. It is just on another level. And yes, I am serious.

Hard to beat. Maiden has a few that come close. Queensryche in Tokyo 1984 was stellar as well

Also really liked Dimebag's solo and subsequent riffs in Domination at Live in Moscow '91

LINK

I'm getting all hyped up at work...

I think there was 1.6 million people seeing Metallica and Pantera at that concert.

Pantera 1996 great southern trendkill tour. Phil mentioned what a disappointment load/reload was. It was a paas the torch moment.

Saw Lamb of God with Slipknot at UNO in 2005. Lamb of God was incredible....pretty much watched in awe.

Would love to see them but Randy Blythe is getting old. I wonder how long he can keep those vocals.

You must've not arrived in time for Shadows Fall.

I was there too. It was on Good Friday I’m pretty sure.

I prefer smaller venure shows, so my vote goes to any Down show that I saw with the Phil/Kirk/Pepper/Rex/Bower lineup. They brought it every time.

Agreed. Those early to mid 2000's Down shows were insane. I will never forget seeing them at Voodoo Fest when Phil(obviously under the influence of something) told the crowd, "The 2 bands playing after us on this stage SUCK!". Those 2 bands were Garbage & No Doubt. He was right.
