I'll nominate Creed, Nickelback, Chavelle, and Three Days Grace. Don't feel like Kings of Leon have been around long enough

You must be trolling.... None of those bands qualify as metal

Your definition of Heavy Metal and everyone else's is WAY off.

On a serious note not many people will agree with me but L.D. 50 from Mudvayne is the best heavy metal album of the 2000's IMO. Wish they would have stayed with that type of music

On a more serious note, what about bands like Limp Bizkit and Korn? I loved them when I was growing up!

I was a Drill Sergeant in 2001 when the towers came down and we had a new recruit come in and he had this CD in his walkman and of course you know I had to take it away from him but anyways, I had never heard this due to my Classic Rock ways and I was actually intriqued so I started listening to it on the way to work and this shite actually pumped me up to frick with them even more. No Lie.

Other than what everyone else stated about a shite storm. The fact that you named Nickelback and miss spelled Chevelle is concerning enough.
Shall we have a real discussion now?
Growing up in the 90's and into the 2000's, for me it is easy to say Metal was the main genre of rock(IMO) during that time period.
1) Isis(favorite band)
2) System of a Down
3) Tool
4) Chevelle
5) In Flames
6) Mastodon
7) Slipknot

I really do love Chevelle though.
