Outside the obvious 70s classics:
Arcade Fire - Funeral (As a broke arse college kid I pirated the album (limewire?), and later proceeded to drive 30 mins away to buy the album at bestbuy to support the band - frick james murphy for their current sound)
Unfortunately they sold out, but Kings Of Leon burst onto my scene in college (first saw them @ JT's DU in Athens)
Not really fair as a debut, but to continue my theme of great entries and disappointing late catalogues...

Interesting that I've seen the Kings of Leon debut LP posted twice so far but not this one yet:
FWIW i prefer Room On Fire from The Strokes along with Aha Shake Heartbreak from KOL.
