Saw them at The Rusty Nail in BR circa 1990. Incredible.
I've seen them at least half a dozen times, in bars, clubs and arenas. They're incredible every time, consistently one of the best live shows out there. Pure energy from start to finish.
Another band I think should be bigger is probably a bit more on the obscure side of things. Shinobi Ninja.

I feel like I say L7 on everything, but them. They didn’t sell a lot of records, but they have a loyal fan base that brought them back. They still kick arse in their 50’s.
They have a documentary on YouTube called “Pretend We’re Dead”. I highly recommend everyone watch it.

quote:They keep getting better and better and when I go to shows a majority of their fans are still college age kids so there’s still hope for a breakthrough. It really sucks they had to stop touring on their last album (Covid). It was great and they could’ve gotten a lot of traction on live broadcasts (such as KEXP) and opening for larger bands. Sorry, I love those guys.

Fishbone. Pretty good Doc called “Everyday Sunshine” about them, and why they didn’t get over the top with radio.
