I keep all the stuff that comes with the album inside the albums themselves personally

Man Kano is my favorite UK rapper. Really cool to see.
Kano can flat out spit. I’m not as big of a fan of his beats though. I mainly checked him out after watching Top Boy, introduced me to Dave as well, who I enjoy a bit more.
The Gang-Starr is more my usual speed though. Showing my age.
If I were a rich man I’d start a label and sign jazz groups as a kindve loss-leader for the express purpose of hip-hop groups being able to sample them without going broke making the record.

Yea I'm in my mid 30s so I feel you. DJ Premier is probably the best producer in hip hop history. His resume is ridiculous.

First off, I’m a fan of most everything you are playing.
I got this in the mail the other day, but I have a little section of my collection for the albums I haven’t had a chance to listen to yet I usually close my eyes and randomly pick one. I’m really looking forward to picking this one.

It sounds wonderful, I’m sure you’ll love it

What surfaces should I clean my records on? I already have the cloth but I’m not sure what surface to clean them on.

This is my setup. I clean with an enzyme cleaner, tugi-kleen, and Distilled water. Then a carbon fiber brush for static.
I’d probably invest in one of those spin cleans And some good lint free towels and brushes (maybe micro-fiber? Someone here will know).
Also get a good stylus brush.

was so excited to see this waiting for me when I got home from work. One of my all time favorite albums released back in 99. Copies of the original pressing are well over $400 list I checked, and they did a very small reissue in 2011 that I missed out on, and even those copies go for well over $100. Fat Possum have finally given this album a proper reissue, and it sounds great so far!
Rowland S. Howard - Teenage Snuff Film
1999
(RIP)
She Cried
Another solid album. Pop crimes has my favorite song by him “Shut Me Down.”

I’m really impressed tbh. By far the best value among the “audiophile” reissues I’ve purchased. Didn’t know anything about Craft Recordings reissue quality before buying, and I’m very pleased. The packaging is nice, the individual album jackets are top-notch (was surprised by this), and The sound is excellent.
I wish Numero Group went the extra mile of having their reissues mastered by someone like Kevin Gray, and pressed at RTI. Numero puts out a lot of interesting reissues, but I’ve come across so many poor pressings.

Sturgill Simpson- Sound & Fury
This album sounds 100x better on vinyl.

I agree, it’s quite the experience when cranked...

A double dip from the Queen of Soul on a Sunday. The recent Vinyl Me Please pressings of Aretha Now and I Never Loved A Man The Way I Love You.
