Man I was gonna do the pro ject debut carbon and the black box(brand escapes me right now) pre amp. I found a VPI Nomad which comes with the preamp and a ortofon red cart for the same price as the carbon and a pre amp.
For a few hundred more if you can find one (discontinued, new version out) the Nomad is nice. Checked all that with Marco before I bought and he said VPI all the way.

The dates aren't set in stone but in my experience it's been due to delays from the label. That happened with the Sea Change reissue and a couple others I've pre-ordered through them. They all shipped as soon as the revised release dates came up. The good thing is you can actually get someone from soundstage direct on the phone for an explanation when it happens.

Rush--"Moving Pictures"...Mercury Records, DMM (Direct Metal Master), 200g LP, 2015.
Folks, this, along with all the other 200g Rush reissues are some of the cleanest, blackest, tick/pop free records I own...the Direct Metal Master process combined with no compression, and a 200g weight is hard to beat sonically!!
