There is no runaway winner like The Beatles with rock music.
Notorious BIG is great, but only released 2 albums.
Eminem has had a long, successful career, but he has such a strange "horrorcore" or whatever the frick it is called style that he can't be looked at as the greatest overall in the genre.
Jay Z is a contender.
Lil Wayne could have been the greatest. His stretch from 2005-2008 is unbelievable with 2 good albums, guest verses all over the place, and most notably the two definitive mixtapes of all time. What the frick happened to him? Dude makes pure r&b pop shite. Thanks Weezy.
Obviously there are a lot more to discuss.
My vote goes to Outkast

Obivously everyone has their own opinions but my favorite is Jay Z. Love his entire collection and has a great list of features.
Not argueing that he is the GOAT, but he is the best to me. There are a lot of people they you could argue for and if you gave a list of 10 and asked 10 people to rank them, you would get 10 different list.

No disrespect to you or to Wu Tang, but personally I like UGK way more and think they are better. But that's my opinion. And your opinion is yours.

Why would I be trolling? If it's because you hate his ego you can't discredit all the success he has had. The list speaks for it self List of Kanye West Awards and he is already working on a new album for next year.
