Another band that most of the 40+ guys will recognize immediately, but some of the young guys may have never heard. Indie guitar rock that's really hard to pigeonhole or easily find comparable sounding bands. I'm just going to post some early stuff, because that's my favorite.

saw them about 5 years at the Troubadour in LA and they still rocked it ... lead singer did a house show in NOLA last year, which was also pretty great.

Saw them at Emo's in Austin about 8 years ago. Emo's is outdoors and it was about 105 degrees at 10pm and they rocked and I sweated my arse off. Great show.

We saw them in '94 at The Masquerade in Atlanta.. they played with the 3Ds and Superchunk...

Last time I saw them was during that reunion.. in 2011 at the Bottom Lounge in Chicago..

Saw them at the Whisky a Go Go in Hollywood back in the early 90s. Great show. Lots of So Cal-NC transplants at the show. Another under-appreciated indie rock band from one of the better decades for music.
