Never was a big Kiss fan but did see them when they came back with their makeup in the mid-90’s and it was a fun show. Really cool documentary.... they were marketing geniuses.

Really enjoyable so far.

I wish Peter and Ace had participated. I read that they were asked to, but Paul says they insisted on final approval of footage and editing. No deal. Ace said he was approached, but the "small fee" the producers offered him was embarrassing, so he turned it down.

Peter wouldn't even let them use Beth in it. There was a big segment about how it was developed and was a huge hit, but they never played a note of it. I guess Peter has a piece of the publishing rights to it.

Never a KISS fan, so no go for me, but for those who liked their music, hope you enjoy it.

What he’d part of it and enjoyed it. I was a KISS fan as a kid. Cool seeing the old footage of them coming up.

Sad to hear all of the” Gene is a dick” from YouTube and podcasts. Because I believe them. But I think it’s a game thing. They’re such a novelty now and old. But people forget how wildly famous they were in the 70’s. About a 6 year run of huge fame rolled up in the mystery of them having to be out with makeup. They were HUGELY famous. That level of fame makes people crazy.

I was lucky enuf to see them back in '74 at the Kingfish and again in '79 at the Centroplex.
And I'm going to see them again from the front row. Went and got a 1k+ ticket for their show in Lafayette on Oct 6..Cant frickin wait.

Nope. I can handle a few of their songs. I don’t think their music holds up. It’s really simple stuff when I hear it now. Detroit Rock City is probably my favorite.

My older brother was a big fan. We shared a bedroom and he would come in while I was sleeping, turn on the lights, and crank up one of their albums on the stereo. What a jerk.

Saw them once 1976 at the Warehouse in New Orleans. One of the best concert as far as energy level. Never had the desire to see them again. The later music just was not the same for me. Plus Ace was my favorite in the group.

Him and Gene both. Paul Stanley’s voice is utterly shot now.
