The guitars riding on platforms to start was state-of-the-art the art at theCentroplex in 77. Everyone was blown away. Good times for a high schooler.

I saw them live at the Warehouse in NOLA on March 12th,1976 during the Kiss Alive hey dey. (tickets were $6.00) We were right up front on the rail and kept wondering what the "tube" was" was that was to the right of us. Well, as we found out at the end of the show, it was a confetti bomb, and my ears are still ringing.

Unfortunately no. Two years ago with Tommy and Eric. Still was a good show but no Ace and Peter. Lots of confetti as well during Rock and Roll All Nite.

They were the opener for Blue Oyster Cult and NY Dolls.
Extremely odd collection of bands.

KISS “ALIVE” is a great great album….. 100,000 years is a underrated classic.

I’ve seen vintage live 70’s Kiss concerts on VH1 Classic but sadly not in person at that time. I could tell they were awesome shows though.
I did see them in ‘85 sans makeup at Lakefront Arena and was bored out of my skull. Paul Stanley’s gay prancing did not help matters.
Sorry but it’s true.

Saw that show...they we calling that their final tour then.
They were so loud it took me 10 seconds to figure out the song.
Ted was great...Stranglehold for the win..

I saw them on the Alive 3 tour without the makeup, then the last tour with Ace and Peter.

Never got to see them. Was too young in their prime and then just never got around to seeing them later.
Funny story though from a friend who did see them in their prime. KISS played a show in Columbus, Georgia in late 1976. The opening act was Tom Petty, who was a virtual unknown at the time - he was touring in support of his debut album, but it nor Breakdown had been released yet.
According to my friend, Petty pretty much got boo'd off stage by the KISS Army.

'79 in the Centroplex like alot of people on here. Then the Creatures tour in the Dome with Zebra and every tour since, makeup or not. Tough times for fans during the poorly attended Crazy Nights tour. Highest grossing tour of '96 with Reunion tour. Been there for the highs and lows.

1st time I saw KISS was in 1979.
I was 13 years old and it blew me away.
Seen them 23 times and even though Paul cant sing like he did in 1979..........they are stll fantastic live.
If not the best live show ever..........they are close.

This show is awesome.
1976 and pure wildness.

Same.
KISS in ‘79 was my second concert ever. I was 13.
First was Queen on Halloween night in ‘78 at the N.O. Municipal auditorium.

We saw them in the Pontiac Silverdome in 1978. A band called New England, Heart, and KISS.
Heart's rendition of Rock n Roll by Led Zeppelin was right there at the top of best live songs I've ever seen live.
When I witnessed Detroit Rock City as the phase in song to KISS coming on stage I was mesmerized. Nothing like that and I saw a lot of shows back in the day.
