Yes. Lead singer is cool a shite!!! Met him when Sevendust was one of the opening acts for Shinedown back in 2011 when Shinedown was on the Sound of Madness tour.

The show was in this order:
10 Years
Puddle of Mud - they were fricking horrible!!
Sevendust
Chevelle
Shinedown - left about halfway through their set. Corporate sell-outs. Instead of playing some actual decent songs off of their first album they made damn sure to play their stupid arse songs from Alice in Wonderland and The Expendables.

As soon as Sevendust was through playing, he came out by the crowd and watched the Chevelle show. Shot the shite with him for about 20 minutes.

Yes. Why do you ask?

The only knock I have on them is that period when Clint left the band. Noticeable drop off in song quality.

Yes, especially the first 4 albums. I wasn't a big fan of the guitar shuffle and I never caught back up with them after the "reformation." But, solid alt metal band - one of my favorites of that style of music.

ETA: Likeaboss? Jinx.

Yep, some of their early stuff went pretty hard.

I liked Hope and Sorry and thought Sonny Mayo did a great job filling in.

I have tried over and over to like them...but I just cant. Every song has that same chug along riff.

No thanx. It was my job to put that shite on everything in our garden as a kid. I hated doing that.
