U2 is grabbing all the post-show glow -- reportedly for good reason -- but I'd also like to find some some in-depth reports on how Mr. Hansen fared.

TIA.

It was just a pretty straight forward performance... nothing special IMO

He was pretty straight forward and kind of seemed to embrace his role as a warm up and not kill. Still fun though. I was as fired up to see him as U2. He talked about the respect he had for U2, and Joshua tree album.

His drummer was bad arse. Was princes old drummer. 300lbs of thunder. Don't know how his drum kit survives. Tight bass player locked in with the drummer also.
He also had a little subgroup touring with him he called the B53s. They are young folks in the LA music scene semi famous in thier own rite. They broke out into Rock Lobster in thier intoduction. I developed a major crush on the tall brunette.

He also has anoner keyboard player besides the B53 chick that broke out "cars" by Gary Numan when he introduced him.

Guitar player broke out the miss you stones riff during his introduction.

The band he has together for this tour just as eclectic as he is and seemed to be having fun up there.

The band introduction was the best part of his show. I thought his show was really boring. But then I’ve never “gotten” him I guess.
